Sherwood Park Manor Long Term Care Home is a full-service non-profit Nursing Home licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care and governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Manor, as it is commonly referred to, has a rich and interesting history and maintains a high profile in our local community. Sherwood Park Manor is a scent-free environment.

Located on the eastern edge of Brockville, the Manor is close enough to the city to take advantage of the urban amenities while having the distinction of a quiet country setting.   The building is surrounded by colorful gardens, paved walkways, spacious patios including a pergola and a gazebo.

The Sherwood Park Manor Auxiliary is a vital component to the ongoing success of the organization. The Auxiliary is extremely active and makes an outstanding contribution to the quality of life for all of our residents.  Through various fundraising activities in the community, the Auxiliary helps to finance capital projects such as new furnishings and equipment.

Two other organizations within the Manor also make important contributions to the well-being of the residents.  All residents are encouraged to participate in the Residents’ Council and all family members of residents are encouraged to attend the regular Family Council Meetings.

Working as a team and supporting all interests and needs of our residents, whether initiated by the Auxiliary, the Life Enrichment Program, Residents’ Council or the Family Council, contributes to the success of Sherwood Park Manor.
