RN:

Sherwood Park Manor is looking for a FT Registered Nurse to join our team. SPM is a 107 bed, not-for-profit, long term care home.

As an RN you will be providing leadership to the nursing team. You provide support and supervision for the RPNs, non-registered staff and students. You will assess residents' condition , develop care plans, implement appropriate intervention and evaluate their effectiveness. You will work as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, offering input, reporting pertinent information and promoting wellness initiatives. You will encourage effective teamwork and be a positive role model for other staff and students.

Salary: $30.59-$46.31 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All employees of SPM must have full COVID-19 vaccination, participate in rapid antigen testing and be able to wear a mask throughout their shift.

RPN:

As a RPN you will assume responsibility as a team leader for an assigned area. Primary duties include the safe provision of medications and treatments to residents. You will continuously observe and update the assessment of the resident by using critical nursing assessment skills and contribute to the development and modification of the resident’s plan of care.

Candidates must maintain current registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario and be certified in CPR and First Aid. Experience working in Long Term Care and the use of PointClickCare and eMars is preferred. Training in Gentle Persuasive Approach and U-First is considered an asset.

Candidates must be available day, evening and night shifts; weekends, holidays and for call-in shifts.

All staff are eligible to join HOOPP pension plan immediately on hire.

Salary: $24.88-$26.52 per hour
